Based on the eponymous play by Roberto De Simone. Cinderella lives in Naples and is treated harshly by her stepmother and stepsisters. The Monaciello – a 'good fairy' figure – intervenes, allowing her to go to the ball and meet the Prince, as happens in all classic fairy tales.
