Antonio, a boy not yet of age, has a passion for football and hopes one day to become famous as a player in an important team. His father Carlo left him and his mother Miriam but the woman did not give up. Antonio has an immense affection for her. Michele, a talent-scout gives the boy a perspective to enter in the youth group of the Parma team. A coach takes care of Antonio's professional training. The film was presented at the Venice Film Festival and Anna Foglietta received a David di Donatello as best actress.
