Bruno is the jockey of Black Fire, a very competitive horse, and is married to Maria. Bruno's brother, Stefano, is a bad guy and has returned from a trip abroad. Maria easily lets herself be seduced by Stefano, who then has a fight with one of his comrades. The latter is killed by Stefano but before he dies he eventually shoots at Maria. After the race that Bruno wins with the horse he will have in his arms the dying Maria and the repented brother decides to go the police .
