The bodies of the its victims were laid to rest in the Fontanelle Cemetery, where thousands of bones appear to be waiting for a gesture of pity or compassion or affection. In exchange for the kindness of living persons who adopt a skull, the dead reveal themselves in their dreams. A search of lost time that is a meditation on the remains of that which we no longer see and which continues to palpitate among the undulations of the gaze and the conscience.

Donna Maria e Don Antonio sono sposati da trent’anni. Gianluca e Gennaro sono a Napoli per una bella vacanza d’amore. Laura ha combinato un guaio e il suo uomo è andato via, ma Nicola, il suo amico di sempre, fa di tutto per aiutarla a rincontrarlo, Santo è in questura perché ha perso la moglie, non la trova più. Queste persone non si sono mai conosciute. After losing his job as a bricklayer, Christian starts working as a forklift operator in a supermarket. Thus it finds itself in a new and unknown world: the long corridors, the bustle at the crates, the forklifts. Meet Rudi, Pallet-Klaus and Bruno. The latter takes him under his wing and shows him the tricks of the trade, becoming for him a paternal friend. Soon Christian will become an actual member of the friendly - and in his own way - family of this supermarket, in which he also knows the mysterious and married Marion.
