Evros River. The border between Greece and Turkey. By the riverbank an outpost and a deadly minefield that a platoon of volunteers are struggling to clear. Un giovane di Napoli soffre di una cecità galoppante e per questo porta un vistoso paio di occhiali che gli conferisce un aspetto stralunato. Taciturno e nevrotico, ha deciso di farla finita con la vita portando con sé anche il padre malato di cuore, e per fare questo si procura una pistola sul mercato nero. I suoi propositi di sangue vengono però rimandati quando salva da un’aggressione in strada una giovane donna, mettendo in fuga il suo assalitore.

Born in London in 1974. His father is a British citizen from London and his mother is from Matera. The family moved to Pisa where Roan took a degree in Modern Literature. He attended the Experimental Centre of Cinematography in Rome. He made his debut in 2002 as a writer for various television dramas including Commissario De Luca and Raccontami.
