A senseless, violent, almost botched murder is followed by a cold, calculated, flawlessly performed execution, while the murderer's idealistic young defence lawyer ends up as an unwilling accessory to the judicial murder of his client. A youth randomly and brutally murders a taxi-driver. Piotr has just passed his law exams and been admitted to the bar. He is to defend Jacek, the young murderer. There is no evidence for the defence and no apparent motive.

Nato il 6 maggio 1968 a Torre del Greco. 1993 ottiene il diploma di aiuto regista ed operatore televisivo presso l’Istituto Superiore per la Cinematografia e la Televisione di Roma. Realizza cortometraggi ed e’ assistente alla regia per Wilma L’Abate, Mario Martone. Nel frattempo e’ docente del corso di tecnica di ripresa, tenuto presso l’Istituto superiore per la cinematografia presso la Fonoroma. Lavora in tutte e tre le principali reti RAI a show e trasmissioni e continua il lavoro di assistente alla regia.
Bruno Dumont, after attempting to pass the admission test at the IDHEC Film Studies School in 1977, attended the faculty of Philosophy. He teaches for a few years then starts making shorts, commercials and documentaries. In 1993 the first short film titled Paris. Three years later the first feature film In 1996, he wrote and directed his first feature film The life of Jesus, he received a special mention at the Cannes Film Festival and the Jean-Vigo Award the following year.
Bruno Oliviero was born July 2, 1972 in Torre del Greco lived in Naples up to 30 years old. There he made the first artistic experiences in stage and cinema. Since 2003 he lives in Milan and has intensified his relations with Paris where he lives half his time. After several documentaries awarded at various festivals, in recent years he has directed the fictional film The Human Factor (2013) with Silvio Orlando and Giuseppe Battiston, he wrote the screenplay for The Intrusion (2017) by Leonardo di Costanzo and directed an important documentary on Louis Althusser for ArteFrance.
