Domani le premiazioni del XVI Napoli Film Festival In serata la riscoperta di Deserto Rosso di Antonioni
It's awards time for the 16th Napoli Film Festival, which tonight will see the unveiling of the winners of the Europa Mediterraneo, Schermo Napoli and Fotogrammi competitions. The awards ceremony will take place at 18:30 at the French Institute of Naples, in the presence of Naples City Council culture spokesman, Nino Daniele. The Sunday of the Napoli Film Festival however starts at 10:00 with a tour of sites associated with Neapolitan cinema, organised by Campania Movietour. A walk through the unforgettable places of Naples films such as Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow, One Man Up, The Treasure of San Gennaro, Flatfoot, Scusate il ritardo and Toto, Peppino e la malafemmina. During the walking tour, a film expert will not only share anecdotes about the filming of the movies but will also show frames and stills so you can compare the locations with the places as they really are. All adding up to an exciting journey through film history and the city streets starring on the big screen. The tour starts at Piazza Amedeo and stops off at all the film locations. In the evening, after the awards ceremony at the French Institute there will be an unmissable event – a screening of with Antonioni's 1964 film The Red Desert, with an amazing Monica Vitti.
