Rachid, Laurence and their seven-year-old son decide to leave Paris and move to Morocco. Once there, Laurence tries to fit in her lovely family, while Rachid finds himself involved in a series of intrigues that hinder the progress of his scientific research. Laurence feels more and more trapped by the culture and way of life of the “tribe”, all the more so that Rachid seems unable to cope with what's going on.
