Francesco Falaschi (Grosseto, 1961) has directed over 20 short films (including Quasi fratelli, winner of the David di Donatello in 1999, and Assaggi di cinema, presented at Cannes in 2007), various documentaries and four feature films. The first is I am Emma (2003), with whom he obtained the nomination for the David di Donatello and the Nastro d'Argento as best debut director, as well as winning the Audience Award at the N.I.C.E Festival in San Francisco. This is followed by Last Minute Morocco (2007) and Questo mondo e’ per te (2011). Meanwhile, between 2009 and 2010, Falaschi is also a director and co-writer of the web-series CasaCoop, the first Italian web sitcom. In 2015 he wrote the first draft of Quanto basta, which then came out in 2018.
