Brief synopsis:

Mediterranean diet example to the world is a poetic journey narrated through the eyes and words of an old wisdom man who, after wandering the world and seeing a humanity saddened by hunger and misery, returns to Italy, in his native land , the Cilento. And it is precisely here that with its wisdom, will introduce us to the homeland of the Mediterranean diet, lifestyle proclaimed November 16, 2010 in Nairobi by UNESCO, "Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity". We will see a territory full of productive wealth, natural biodiversity, cultural and agri-food, a place that preserves the secret of longevity that was greatly appreciated by the greatest nutritionist of the '900, Ancel Keys, who moved here to "lengthen his life twenty years old ". Outlined by him, the Mediterranean diet is much more than a diet. Model made of seasonality, typicality and biodiversity, is configured as a lifestyle representative of the relationship between men and territory. Just as an old proverb says, "If a man is hungry not to give him a fish, but to teach him to fish", the old wisdom man, after having accompanied us in enchanting places, with nostalgia, will decide to leave to bring his wealth to all people poor in the world: the lifestyle of the Mediterranean diet.
