Brief synopsis:
The Lucania land of beauties, above all secluded, as are the secrets and the talents between villages and towns. The author meets people and realities worthy of a surprising story. Colobraro is a village, in the decades considered a reality to be avoided, even not to mention, because of a legend that pointed it out as a village that brings misfortune. On the origins of Colobraro’s bad reputation, the versions are different. The Neapolitan anthropologist Ernesto de Martino, with his essay South and Magic, had the merit in each case to make known the phenomena of tarantismo, of the popular magic and the false myths on which superstition was based in those perched places.
