Alienazione e incomunicabilità

The inspiration of the project is the theme of alienation and non-communication, which Michelangelo Antonioni deals with in the film The Eclipse and in his other works. I tried to express this concept through images in which we compare two worlds: the external and the internal world of the main character, highlighting the way in which we sometimes live, estranged from reality; for the protagonists, absorbed in their own thoughts, other people no longer exist; they become evanescent entities, weightless, like ghosts ... this state means they are alone, even if physically they are not.

di Antonio Nuic (Bos, 2006, 94') v.o., sott. it.; Lun 18 h 19.00 30-year-old Goran lives in a small town in Bosnia. Unlike his friends, Goran came out of the war virtually unscathed. He lives on an inheritance from his parents and drinks his days away with his friends. One day, all his friends are killed in a bar brawl. The incident completely knocks Goran out of his routine life, and he decides to sell all his belongings and start doing something memorable.

Un viaggio dall'oscurità alla luce. Alma rivela la metamorfosi di un uomo prima delle sue paure e scoperte inaspettate. L'indagine sulla sua stessa natura lo porta in condizioni incerte, proprio come l'essenza stessa di cui è fatto.

Alone Together è un cortometraggio il quale mostra la società contemporanea descritta perfettamente con la citazione del sociologo polacco Bauman "uno sciame di isolati sempre connessi ma altrettanto distanti", abbiamo perso il contatto reale con le persone e con la natura a causa dell'uso eccessivo dei social.

A group of boys in the early stage of the German reunification: Dani, Rico, Mark and Paul try out some new things after the recent reunification of Berlin and the fall of East Germany. They steal cars, experiment with drugs, and open their own techno music nightclub.

Alter ego

What the photographer character in Blow Up gives me is the feeling that everyone lives two lives in parallel; a conventional one, made from what is imposed on us on a daily basis by the society of doing, and therefore work; and another one dictated by the truest part of ourselves, the spontaneous part that responds to our instincts. The two parts may appear very different, but together they travel, accompany and characterise us.

ALTEREGO

I due registi hanno raccontato il periodo difficile dell’adolescenza parlando delle scelte sbagliate che si fanno perché diversi rispetto alla massa, in chiave ironica e inserendo il ballo scolastico come sfondo della vicenda.

Alters

Benedetta vive nella sua “prigione” costruita con alibi razionali. Nasconde le sue paure e i suoi desideri tra le mura di casa, unico luogo dove prende forma il suo inconscio latente. Basterà spostare un pezzetto di questo puzzle perfetto per spingerla dove, fino a quel momento, non ha avuto il coraggio di andare.

ALTO FEST

ALTO FEST, conceived and directed by TeatrInGestAzione, is an International Festival of Performing Arts and Transdisciplinary Interventions, started in July 2011, totally built with the citizens of Naples. They open their houses and/or private spaces (gardens, cellars, shops, gyms, etc.) hosting international artists coming from all around the world. The Festival aims to raise the awareness of territory to cultural renaissance, engaging citizens personally.
