Altopiano di Asiago, Natale 1945. Due uomini con provenienze culturali diverse, e su fronti opposti durante il conflitto appena concluso, una volta erano come padre e figlio. Poi le loro scelte hanno annullato quel legame. Ora, il maestro elementare ed ex fascista vorrebbe riconciliarsi con la sua ex allieva. I due si rincontrano in un vecchio rifugio abbandonato di alta montagna.

It is the madman who always follows behind and who we never see until he decides to take the situation in hand; the moment when it is he who realises he has a madman before him.
Si racconta attraverso lo scorrere dei giorni della settimana il rapporto morboso e violento di un ragazzo con la sua nuova fidanzata. Con il, passare delle giornate raccontiamo il decorso di una storia d'amore e della sua tragica conclusione.
George Eastman is the broke nephew of the rich industrialist Charles Eastman. George arrives in town after the lucky meeting with his uncle while he was working in a hotel in Chicago. Charles offers his nephew a job in his factory. There he meets Alice the worker and they start to date. At a social event organised by his uncle he meets Angela, a high society girl that George had already noticed and they fall in love with each other. But Alice gets pregnant and wants him to marry her, although George is already infatuated by high society and by Angela’s beauty and ignores the problem.
This is the story of a boy and girl who are victims of school bullying. The girl's story reaches a happy ending, but for the boy the outcome is tragic.
