In this picture I have captured the feeling of oppression I felt me while watching the films "The Red Desert" and "The Eclipse" by Michelangelo Antonioni. The characters of his films are in a constant state of conflict with themselves and therefore with the world. They feel oppressed by what they are and the pain of living crushes them, preventing them from being able to find a way out of the surrounding darkness that projects into their psyches.
Just Between Us is a wicked, indiscreet contemporary story set in Zagreb about the whirling erotic passions that percolate beneath
the dull, composed surface of everyday bourgeois life and manners. It is about things that happen in well-established families that are mainly kept secret, but that nevertheless remain painful. We meet two brothers, their wives and lovers – and their children who do not know who their real fathers are.

Franco Arminio lives and works in the eastern area of Irpinia. He is the inventor of a new form of literature, "landscapeology”, a discipline as
essential as it is inexistent. He can't manage to live in Bisaccia, nor can he manage to leave it. He wanders round remote, abandoned villages where most of the inhabitants have left, “to find life” and only the weakest have remained.
Alda, Pier, Giamma e Rachel sono due coppie di amici di lunga data. Hanno grandi ideali, ma vivono da precari in una società che spesso li ha delusi, e che continua a farlo. Nessuno di loro, infatti, immaginava di ritrovarsi così a trentacinque anni: con le ossa rotte e un abisso a separare le aspirazioni dalla realtà. Per fortuna c’è la loro amicizia, rifugio solido dagli scossoni della vita. Tutti e quattro vorrebbero avere un figlio, ma fanno fatica a immaginare di poterselo permettere.
The near future. Following a nuclear accident, some nations are forced to live by filtering the now contaminated air with purifiers and gas masks. For a bet, a few kids take off their masks in the open, where they are exposed to the contamination – and discover a disturbing truth.
She is a Galician filmmaker based in Barcelona. She studied the university degree in Cinema at the ESCAC, attached to the University of Barcelona, specializing in Film Editing. Diana Toucedo also earned a Master Degree in Contemporary Cinematographic Theory at the Catalonian Pompeu Fabra University.
