Paco is a conservatory graduate in piano performance from Naples; he is a good piano player nevertheless he does not have a job. So, when his mother wants him to become a police officer, he accepts. He starts his job as person in charge of the forfeited goods. One day the police inspector hears him playing the piano and just like a manager he decides to let him join the music band of a melodic singer, Lollo Love. Actually the police inspector is interested in catching a member of the camorra. He wants to use the concert of the band indeed as a diversion. Hence a series of incredible misadventures of Paco start, with a happy ending. The film was awarded with two David di Donatello Awards for music and songs, four Nastri d’argento (Silver ribbons) including best comedy direction, and further prizes.
