Vlasta is a home care nurse in a small town in Moravia. She is a generous and pragmatic woman and has dedicated her whole life to her husband, her daughter and her patients. She has always put the needs of others before his own, firmly believing in traditional medicine and the expertise of doctors. One day she discovers to be sick and she tries to make a change in her life. Forced to abandon all certainties, she understands that her huge altruistic attitude can harm her. Thanks to a new young friend, pranotherapist and dance teacher, and to a guru of questionable methods when not tragicomic, Vlasta comes to accept that also she, like everyone, needs love and attention.
