It is about the last ten years of life of the poetess Antonia Pozzi, who lived in Milan during the Fascism; the Nobel prize Eugenio Montale regarded her as one of the greatest poets of the twentieth century; nevertheless, she never knew to be so good while she was alive. The sixteen-year-old Antonia writes feverishly and secretly on her diary about her impossible love with her high school teacher: meetings, passion and attraction. On the 3rd of December 1938, when she was only twenty-six years old, Antonia, committed suicide. She had never published any of her poems until that day. This film was presented in the contest at the 50th edition of the festival of Karlovy Vary and the direction got a special mention.
